Marketing my Books

Yesterday I had a call asking for some of my time today to explain a plan to market my book. It was the same India man, to me it sounded like the same voice and he admitted he wanted to promote his company or one he represented. Bookwhirl.com. His economic package was $699. I declined because I do not intend to spend that much money for promotion. I do have SAGESONG published by iUniverse and they are promoting that on Amazon. “Rise to the Occasion” was self-published several years ago on CreateSpace. BEYOND NAMCHE and WILDLY IN THE ROCKIES are for sale, new or used, on Amazon.com. THE OPEN DOOR is in the proofing stage. I am writing NORTH BY CAMEL about travel in Australia in World War II. I am not out to sell books. I want to write and so I do.
